This Week's Roundup of Time Wasters

Don't bother even thinking of getting any work done for the next 20 miinutes. Instead, spend some time with these time wasters.

  • The Zurich Chamber Orchestra's "Roller Coaster" is a wild ride!

  • You've been dying to know how an Etch-a-Sketch works, right? (Okay, I did.) Here's the scoop.

  • It's silly, I know, but sometimes when I'm a conference call and an editor's endlessly talking about who knows what, I want to take a cursor and, well, see for yourself.

  • Interactive Flash creations, no matter how weird, are ideal to while away the time. From the site above -- the one with the cursor and the guy in the white shorts -- try Creatures and Hello Piexl.

  • Take a minute and try the trippy Kaleidoscope Painter. Just drag your mouse around screen.

  • Click on the square and dive into a series of artsy pictures. It's way cool.

  • You know about the Mac vs. PC ads, but here's Lenovo nailing the MacBook Air. [Fixed. Thanks trevor97007.]

BURN!!! They have a point: what good is "The world's thinnest notebook" if you have to buy extra stuff?

And by the way, it's called the MacBook Air.
