CCleaner Zaps Zone Alarm's Logs

By default, ZoneAlarm stores log files that seems to expand exponentially. I mean, they're big.

In an April Hassle-Free PC column (see Eight Tips for a Faster Hard Drive) I offered a batch file to get rid of the humongous files. The batch file, along with a handful of instructions, oughta be easy to use, I thought. No way. Lots of old-timers know about .BAT files, but too many readers got lost right around the ECHO OFF.

CCleaner to the Rescue
About a week ago, CCleaner, my favorite, free cleanup utility popped on a new category. Among the many files leftover from applications that CCleaner zaps, it now sends Zone Alarm files to the bit bucket.

Grab a copy of CCleaner from our Downloads area.
