Yesterday I told you how to use search engines to get online support. There's something even better and it's personalized help -- that doesn't have to cost you a nickel.
All you need to do is fire up your browser and head for a Web site with lots of people eager to supply you with answers to your gnarly PC questions. You might need to register to post questions on a forum; it's two minute process and one benefit on many boards is you'll get an e-mail notification that your question was answered.
Here's How to Ask
In order not to sound like a novice when you post a question, here are a few things to include: The operating system on your PC, the version number of any application that's relevant (say, your browser), and anything you might have done to cause the issue. (I know, you didn't do anything; you booted up and it just happened.)
