Time Killer: Russian Tunnel Bumpercars

Posted by Steve Bass | Friday, June 09, 2006 12:02 PM PT

This has been floating around the 'net for a week or so and I thought it would be perfect for a Friday time killer. Here's the text that accompanied the video:

This tunnel in Russia is supposedly the longest in-city tunnel. A river runs over it and water leaks at some points. When the temperature reaches -38 degrees, like it did this winter, the road freezes and the result is the attached video taken during a single day with the tunnel camera. Congratulations to the dual bus driver... This is better than turn 4 at Daytona!

You really don't want to be in this tunnel during rush hour.

Aaaaaaah! I can't belive the leak isn't traced and fixed, or something isn't put down for traction.

We were just discussing this. How is it possible that all those wrecks were cleaned up within a 24 hour period?
