Windows Vista Marketing Gets Viral

It's called Clearification.com. It involves videos, animations, and other content starring The Daily Show's Demetri Martin. And it appears to be an offbeat advertising vehicle for Windows Vista, though at the moment it barely mentions Microsoft's OS. If that sounds intriguing, click here.

Apparently, we're all supposed to find it interesting enough that we tell other people about it, and I guess I just did. Even though a lot of Martin's material feels like a sort of warmed-over hybrid of Steven Wright and Jack Handey.

So far, it's no Subservient Chicken, but there's more to come, apparently. Interesting to see that Microsoft, like Apple, turned to the Daily Show to find a star for its ad campaign--wonder how Jon Stewart feels about his show being used as a farm team for America's computer spokesmen?

Actually, the most interesting thing about this site is the possibility that its existence is a sign that we will indeed see Windows Vista show up without further meaningful delay. Here's hopin'...
