Kindle Continues To Grow With 5,000 More Titles

The Amazon Kindle wireless e-book reader continues to grow as publisher Simon & Schuster Inc. will release 5000 more books in the digital Kindle format.

The $359 Amazon Kindle has been available for less than a year, but it's definitely keeping the floundering e-book business afloat with positive buzz.

The announcement from Simon & Schuster Inc brings the total available Kindle books to 125,000. Also on Friday, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos spoke at the BookExpo America convention on the benefits of the Kindle.

The release of "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception," helped Bezos tout the benefits of the product because the Amazon book store is sold out of the book, but it's available in e-book format for the Kindle.
