Google Desktop Beta Lets You Accessorize with Gadgets

The new Google Desktop for Windows 5.5 Beta takes gadgets and integration with iGoogle to a new level. Your Google Desktop Gadgets can now be embedded directly into your iGoogle home page. Other improvements Google notes with this beta include a refined and streamlined Quick Search Box, support for multiple versions of the same gadget in iGoogle, a music player, and better Outlook search functionality.
