With reports Apple and Volkswagen are in cahoots to build an iCar who can resist pondering what an iCar might look like. Lucky for me there is no shortage of imaginative Apple designers - with apparently time to burn - dreaming what an iCar might look like.
This is what I found.

Here is a brilliant collection of images from the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. For a complete slideshow of all Apple inspired products including the iBall, iPottie, and the iWatch here is the link.

(Here is another from La Rupubblica)

These concept iCars come compliments of illustrator and photographer Chris O?Riley who keeps a collection of iCars on his site.

Will the real iCar please reveal itself. The only real i Car is currently being manufactured by Mitsubishi. It has nothing to do with Apple except for the fact it has an iPod Nano dock in the dashboard. See the Mitsubishi iCar press release (machine translation of Japanese to English) with photos here.

For those who like to spoil their kids here are some iCar alternative for the toddler-set compliments of Playsam, a Scandinavian design company.

Okay, so this isn't an iCar. But it is a real Apple car designed by Richard Scarry and pictured here driven by Lowly the worm.

And here is my version - take a look: http://sonnenseitedeslebens.blogspot.com/
