Now what are we going to do in Second Life? After spending all that time learning how to walk our avatars around and not bump into stuff, now just finding something to do becomes the real challenge. Talk to any Second Lifer and they'll tell you gambling is one of the few fun things to do "in-world".

Meanwhile, Newsweek's International edition features Second Life on the front cover. Here's a quote from the article: "The people who are coming to this online universe aren't just socializing, however. They're also doing business, collaborating on research, teaching courses, dating and even having sex."
Word is, however, that gambling and cybersex are the only reason people return to Second Life after first checking it out.
Linden Labs, which created Second Life, released its decision to ban gambling in an blog post yesterday. The company has reportedly been under the looking glass of the FBI, which is curious to know if Linden is breaking any gambling laws.
Now what'll I do with all these "Linden Dollars"?
