I wrote a couple of weeks ago about poisoned Google sponsored ads that take people to the listed destination, such as bbb.org, but first redirect them through a malicious site that attempts to install malware.
Well, a researcher posted today about his own small Google Adwords campaign he's been running for the last 6 month. His ad, which read "Is your PC virus-free? Get it infected here!" suggests that it's not at all hard to put up an ad with any text or link you might want. (Stevens says he didn't actually infect anyone, by the by.)
His post also suggests that, not surprisingly, some people really will click on anything.
