New Ambilights and a 108-Inch LCD
Phillips are demonstrating new Ambilight displays, as well as a new wireless HDMI transmission technology that allows a 1080p signal to reach your set wirelessly. Sharp Electronics is showing new Aquos TVs that have higher refresh rates and greater contrast definition. In addition, Sharp is showing off the world largest LCD TV, coming in at a whopping 108 inches.
1080p HDTVs from Sony, Samsung, and Pioneer
The HDTV parade continues with Samsung Electonics showing TVs with 120Hz refresh rates; Pioneer featuring its plasma display TVs that are 1080p compatible; and Sony discussing its new 70-inch Bravia LCD TV with an Internet video link that adds web streaming video capabilities to the set without a computer.

LG's enV Messaging Phone
It's not exactly new for CES, but with a pair of LCDs and a full QWERTY keyboard, LG's VX9900 or "enV" is definitely a hot phone. Check out its clamshell design and 2-megapixel camera.
