Posted by Danny Allen | Saturday, September 16, 2006 6:15 PM PT

The company launched its first table-top stereo radio with HD Radio at this week?s CEDIA trade show.

Slated to launch in November at $300, the company claims that the 820HD will deliver FM channels with near-CD quality sound, AM radio with FM-quality sound, and extra HD2 multicast channels featuring expanded formats.

Like satellite radio, the player displays text information such as artist, songs, sports scores etc, but unlike satellite, there is no monthly subscription fee. The 820HD also has an auxiliary audio input to connect devices like an MP3 or CD player.
