Heads Up: Upcoming Apple Event
Posted by Narasu Rebbapragada | Monday, February 27, 2006 9:29 AM PT
I'll be heading down tomorrow (Tuesday) to Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. for another invitation-only event, so stay tuned for more coverage tomorrow.
The rumor mill is churning out speculation of a new Mac Mini or a new iPod. I'm guessing it's something iPod-related, but I have no idea.
What do you think Apple is announcing tomorrow?
That Mac's are incapable of competing in the real world market and they (Apple) will ceases selling them immediately. Every one should now move to the Windows operating system to continue computing. Mac?s Bite!
It'll be a new iBook and Mac mini using intel chips, and possibly some price changes to their products.
to the boner man above... you've obviously never tried a mac! but to your joy M$ is going to try to jump into the game now with an announcement of its own this week. I'm hoping for the full screen touchscreen video ipod pda wireless thing.
Sport N Wood, I think you have an i.d 10 T error on your hard drive.
Sport N Wood: you're a Sport'n exeample of sheer idiocy between your name and your comment I'm surprised you knew how to type a
(I'm letting you catch up here as I'm sure you're also a slow reader)
post on that there internet.
My guess however is a new video iPod & Mac mini on intel.
Look sport N Wood, I am a windows user, however I done doubt that Mac is a better system, just everything is more windows based, but i do like my apple website

Your apostrophe usage bites.
How about an extended battery for the ipod video or new configurations to extend the life of the current one. I believe that they will eventually release an update that will reconfigure the system. Kinda a giveth and taketh exchange. You can only play certain content apple site approved in exchange for a bios performance upgrade. Or they could just be adding more shows that you'll never really want to see.
I do think though that this will focus solely on the future of mac's with intel. The possibilities are endless and the overhead cost for consumers will be great. I am definitely not moving with window into the vista generation. I'll just keep upgrading my windows xp pro until it becomes totally irrelevant so I can do the things mac wont allow
you to do (we all know what I mean lol).
As far as bill gates you are a great contributor to charity but Mr. Gates slowly but surely your company is turning loyalist into departing upset clientel.
Its amazing that people are so quick to dis the Mac (that means you SportWood), these are the same people who have never owned one. I have used PC's for years, but bought a Mac recently. My PC now gathers dust instead of spy-ware and viruses (as its turned off).
There are very few programs/file types that are not avaiable/compatible on Mac.
Just because Windows is more prevelant doesn't mean Mac OS is not: easier to use / more secure / faster / prettier.....need i go on.
DONT slate Mac till you have used one, Macs are the Number 1 choice for 99% professionals (and people who want to get the job done) and there is a good reason for this.
Apple Come up with easy to use and attractive products at competitive prices, this will be true of the products that they will release today
Listen. SportWood has a point. Just like most people will drive lousy cars, most people will use Windows. That's fine for us Ferrari drivers. They wouldn't appreciate a Mac anyway.
My roommate uses a Windows PC here at our home which is very large by most standards but not nearly large enough for the well being of my heart. Everytime his machine crashes, eats his homework, catches on fire, screams at him or simply shuts down for no aparent reason I get to hear it across all 5,000 square feet of the house causing irregular heart palpitations in my body. For my health I have begged him to please stop using those dreadful machines and move over to Apple. His birthday is coming up, perhaps I should buy him one and get it over with. As for the announcement, I wish really hard for an 80 gig whatever else iPod Video with superv battery life. I'll probably never get one but its the thought that counts. Mr. Jobs, everyone else has already done this, why not you!
Home Entertainment Mac Mini w/intel chips, Full/Touch Screen iPods, BOOM SHAKA LAKA
