New Apple News?

We just got our invitation to yet another Apple event, this time held in San Jose, Calif. on October 12. We don't know what the news is, and Apple won't give us a hint, but we'll be sure to cover it in our newly launched
Mac Info Center.

Apple will announce they will release an O/S to function on existing AMD/Intel driven motherboards in mid-summer of 2006. An Office Suite will be part of the first release. Conversion software is bundled to allow converting from MS propietary format to Opensource. All hardware already compatible with such motherboards will function seamlessly.

Apple already has all of the motherboards and other software to work with the intel chips, as Steve Jobs demonstrated at a previous launch, Rafael
the g5 runs way too hot to be thrown in a notebook...thats why they're switching to intel cpus no?
