Get No-Ad Version of Opera Browser Free for 24 Hours

Opera’s celebrating its 10th anniversary by giving away free registration keys for Opera 8, the ad-free version. Opera, one of PC World's “100 Best Products of 2005” is a Web browser that’s giving the popular Firefox a bit of a run for the money.

There’s no catch, but do it right now because the deal’s not going to last. The offer’s good from 12 a.m. today, August 30 until 12 a.m. tomorrow, August 31 (all times PDT).

Plan on getting a couple of “page-not-available” errors as everyone (except maybe my Luddite brother-in-law) is hitting the site. Try the Opera party page or Opera’s main page and click “Next Exit”.

(And thanks to Eric O'Brien for this hot tip.)

Found out about this on Ubuntforum.org. I downloaded it and am using it right now. It is nice, but I still think I like firefox and the extentions available to it a little better. I will say the interface is much nicer then FF and the inclusion of java already enabled is a plus. I am using Ubuntu linux and still need to figure out how to get realplayer and Mplayer to pluggin to the browser. Also my SBC/Yahoo DSL homepage will not display on Opera because it is niether Netscape or IE compatible. I will definately keep it and play with it. Thank you Opera and happy tenth Bday.

Steve, I think this is awesome! I used the free version of Opera and thought it was great but it didn't show the rich text for Gmail. But I will get the No-Ad version simply because I hate ads and I love tab browsing! Oh, and I used your Maxthon Browser, wow, I love it and still using it!! Thanks!

So stupid, should be free without a banner to begin with.

There must not be a lot of traffic right now (2:35 PDT), because I was able to get to the page really fast, download it fast, and had it installed in 3 minutes. I also agree that Opera should be free without the banner ads, but then we can't have it all (but we can get pretty darn close).

"So stupid, should be free without a banner to begin with."

I like how a lot of Firefox fanboys always said "A browser should be free, so I won't use Opera" ..But when they can finally get Opera for free legitimately, they say "a browser should ALWAYS be free, so I won't try Opera even now."

So stupid.

I work at a advertising field for several years.
My traffic I merge at https://valary.com
I have chosen them as they never shaved, have high bids, PPC and PPA, context ads. I get a detailed statistics and information about my projects. I do really respect them!
