Visual Highlights of NVidia's Launch Party

NVidia's big show here in San Francisco yesterday was part LAN tournament/part product announcement (Read about the new 7800 series graphics processor announcement
here). Gamers converged on the hall early, toting monitors, keyboards, mice, flight sticks, and some stylish PC hardware in order to participate in a multiplayer gaming contest that took place over a hastily-constructed local area network.
Here are photos of some of the more interesting items on display.

Are modders mad? Maybe. Case in point: The "just in case" case.

I'm not really sure what the above case is supposed to represent, but I think it looks like a futuristic office building.

I guess you
do get brownie points for using the vendor's character in your case design.


The I-beam case--nice.


Again, I'm not sure what this is supposed to be, but its shortage of right angles would have made Frank Lloyd Wright happy.
