!Tude Earphones Light Up Your Life

Hong Kong company Helpdezk describes their !Tude Illuminating Earphones as "a breakthrough invention." That may be true, but if 1950s science-fiction movies have taught me anything, it's that breakthroughs aren't always a good thing. I'm undecided about the !Tude earphones, whose electroluminescent cables glow in one of six fashionable colors. Perfect for geeky-hip parties (you never know, you might get a starring role in a pikapika-style movie), but not so much for nighttime train rides, I'd bet.
