Let the Sunshine In

I've mentioned solar-powered cell phone chargers in the past, but NTT DoCoMo takes things a step further with a protoype cell phone that runs on solar power. Not only is it environmentally friendlier than most cell phones, it's as cute as a chibi-Totoro/Hello Kitty boot fight. I hope they've got some kind of backup battery, though, or my Pacific Northwest-inhabiting colleague Cathy "Sunlight? You mean the detergent brand?" Lu won't have much use for it.
