I enjoy mindless board games as much as the next guy, but there's a point where Cranium fails to be entertaining anymore (like 20 minutes in). That's why I like to go across the pond, where board games seem to focus a little more on strategy and thinking. So I was pretty psyched to see that Microsoft is planning to bring three European board games to Xbox Live Arcade. Titles being adapted include "Carcassonne," "Alhambra," and one of my faves, "Settlers of Catan". I'm not sure how these games will translate to the small screen, but at least they'll put an end to the age-old (and annoying) question, "Will you play with me?"
